Detailed information

PTFE hoses have outstanding properties, they are extremely resistant to almost all chemicals, have the lowest coefficient of friction of all polymers and excellent non-stick/residual emptying properties. PTFE hoses do not smell, burn or smoke and are resistant to ageing and UV radiation. However, they are not resistant to fluorine compounds and strong reducing agents.

PTFE tubing has good transparency for excellent visual control and excellent abrasion and ageing resistance, ensuring long-term reliability.

Typical application area of the product

The PTFE hose is widely used in various branches of industry, e.g. in general fluid handling, in the chemical industry, in laboratories, in analytics and water treatment, in electrical applications, in insulation, cooling, cryogenics, as a high-pressure hose in transport, in food, beverage and food processing.
